Defleur is the first area to be introduced in the story. It's a rather small and quiet village, but it's Kyou and Derrick's home. Because the village is set up right next to the Earth crystal, It is surrounded by the beauty of nature and wildlife.
The village's name "Defleur" originates from the word flower in French. This is a suiting name considering all the wildlife around it. The village really is a beautiful place. It's sad that no one can enjoy it because they are afraid of monster attacks.

A temple dedicated to Minotaur. It's surroundings match that of Defleur's.

| Quezacotl Temple
A temple dedicated to Quezacotl. For some reason it is always storming there. The temple is surrounded by wetlands.

| St. Harmona
St. Harmona is the richest city in the world. The reason for this is because the King and Queen reside there in a huge castle. The King and Queen are the only rulers in the world, therefore, rule the world. They also had two children, Nanami and Seth and they expect them to be great world leaders some day.
Besides the great food, entertainment and amount of supplies, St. Harmona is well known for the powerful warriors that are born there. No one is sure why but there are a large number of well known warriors originating from St. Harmona. Another mystery of St. Harmona is the crystal that lies in the castle basement. They know it's a crystal, but no one is exactly sure what magic it holds. There are also a number of wolves roaming the castle gates but nobody mentions it. They assume it's nature.

| Yulemaggo
Yulemaggo is a rare city built for Yukes. The reason why this city is considered rare is because it's surrounded by mountains and hard to get to. Yukes have a "creative" way of building their city with odd looking houses with domed roofs. Some houses will even have a large object like a telescope on the top or they will be on stilts in the water. Amoung these strange houses you will find magicite and refining shops. Yulemaggo is the only place in the world to have such shops because Yukes are the only race that know how to obtain magicite.
Yulemaggo is also knows for it's mines. The mines stretch deeply into the mountains that surround the city and through the mines, the Yukes discover magicite. Of course, the mountains are crawling with certain monsters so the Chocobo-mb knights are often there to protect them. Because Yukes are able to obtain and sell magicite, they have a great amount of money and they put that money into a blue chocobo farm. Since blue chocobos are able to run on water, the Yukes use them as boats so they can fish. then the blue chocobos are used to haul the large amount of fish to their destination. The Yukes have also set up a good democracy for their city. Since all of them are so prideful, they are able to just post an idea up on a bulletin board and a tally is made for the idea. It's a good system that would only work in this city.
